Pre-Install Checklist

Estimated Installation Time:

  • With hand-stitching experience: 1–2 hours
  • No experience: 2–4 hours

1. Package Inspection

Thoroughly inspect the package for any signs of damage upon delivery. Once opened, verify all components are present:

  • 1 steering wheel cover
  • 2 threads & 2 needles
  • 1 double-sided adhesive (Fix the position of the cover to make it easier to sew!)
  • 1 trim tool (Tuck edge into seams)
  • 1 thimble (Protect your fingers)

2. Design Confirmation

Double-check that the cover matches the design and specifications of your order. If there's any discrepancy, please notify us immediately before proceeding.

3. Critical Reminder

Under no circumstances should you remove the original leather from your steering wheel. Doing so will result in an improper fit for our cover.

4. Orientation Guide

The "F" label marks the Front side (facing the driver), while "B" indicates the Back side. Align these labels correctly for a seamless fit.

5. No Disassembly Needed

Relax—this installation is designed for convenience! The cover can be installed directly on your vehicle's steering wheel without requiring disassembly.

6. Timely Communication

If you encounter any of the above issues, contact our customer service team within 7 days of delivery. Delayed notifications may affect warranty coverage.

Installation Steps

Step 1: Steering Wheel Cover Fitment Testing

1. Please put the steering wheel cover on your steering wheel, ensuring that the areas around the spokes and bulges fit well.

2. Adjust the position of the steering wheel cover to align it properly.

Step 2: Double-sided Adhesive Tape Applying

1. Stick the cover to the wheel using the provided tape, especially at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions.

2. Do not apply tape near the edge or over stitches.

Step 3: Excess Material Tucking

Use the trim tool to tuck excess material into the steering wheel seam.

Step 4: Start Sewing

Use thread that’s 3–4 times the length of the section. Follow video instructions to tie a knot and begin sewing.

Step 5: Knotting and Finish the Stitching

Secure the thread at the end and hide the knot under the leather.
